HOW TO: RSR Ti2000 springs into 03 Evolution

This how-to is based on a spring install of RSR Ti2000 Springs for a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.
Tools required
floor jack and 4 jack stands
spring compressor
socket wrench
breaker bar (long socket wrench without ratchet)
sockets: 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 17mm, 19mm
wrenches: 12mm, 17mm, 19mm
flathead screwdriver
pliers
rubber mallet
This how-to is based on a spring install of RSR Ti2000 Springs for a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.

Use a spring compressor to compress the spring.
Undo the top nut on the shock, and remove the assembly.
Cut the bump stop in half
Replace all parts, and place new spring into the shock. Tighten everything down.

Remove trunk liner (Push in retaining clips to unlatch them)
Remove bolt holding shock to control arm
Remove bolt holding control arm to hub
Remove the two bolts in the trunk to release the shock and spring
Use a spring compressor to compress the spring.
Undo the top nut on the shock, and remove the assembly.
Cut the bump stop in half
Replace all parts, and place new spring into the shock. Tighten everything down.
Reverse these steps to put the assembly back in.
Repeat steps 20-25 on other side
Remove trunk liner (Push in retaining clips to unlatch them)
Remove bolt holding shock to control arm
Remove bolt holding control arm to hub
Remove the two bolts in the trunk to release the shock and spring
Use a spring compressor to compress the spring.
Undo the top nut on the shock, and remove the assembly.
Cut the bump stop in half
Replace all parts, and place new spring into the shock. Tighten everything down.
Reverse these steps to put the assembly back in.
Repeat steps 20-25 on other side
