2003 Lancer Evo K&N intake

I have a 2003 Evo that I put a K&N air intake on and it runs worse now than it did before with the stock intake. Has anyone heard bad things about whether K&N intakes work well on an Evo? Any insight would be appreciated

If by "K&N intake", you are refering to the infamous K&N Typhoon intake system, then definitely get rid of it at once as it is a patented POS and will make your Evo, or anyone else's, run like garbage.

I got one since I bought the car, previous owner had it on. But of course it probably had a tune.

I don't have any problems with mine. What is happening?? If it is stalling, check the connections after the MAF.

There is a "filter shootout" somewhere on here, and K&N was the worse performing filter of the lot....

get rid of the K&N everyone is giving you the right advice. The K&N sucks for the Evo.
