Im sure for your needs stock is fine. If it is more sound you are seeking, you can get an open element air filter which will make the stock blow off valve more audible. If you are still not satisfied, I'd recommend staying away from the HKS blow off valve.

I ordered the Go Fast Bits Stealth BOV. Its adjustable and tunable so you can decide how much is recirc and how much is VTA. im most likely going with 70% recirc and 30% vta depending on the tune. http://www.gfb.com.au/stealth-fx/1009s-1009s

I am not sure if they make a kit for the X, but for my VIII I have had Turbo XS RFL, Greddy Type-S and finally purchased an HKS SSQV V2. The HKS will blow off under the lightest boost and hold to the highest, with no adjustment. The biggest problems with BOV's are there ability to conquer both of those scenario's, without giving anything up. HKS FTW, my .02

Why are there so many of these threads and how do they always make their way into the tuning/engine management sub-forum?

Since you only have 3 noob posts and seem to have sub par forum skills, I'll do the leg work for you...

Personally I like the Tial Alpha Q and the Greddy Type-s. I'm not a fan of the SSQV either I would use a Synaptic over it.

If you want to go aftermarket and retain stock fitting I would suggest the APS Twin Vent BOV. If you don't mind a bit of fabrication (nothing really serious) I would suggest a TiAL 50mm VTA BOV.

Stock one is fine, save the money. Unless you are going to run SD or over 25 psi. Use the money for other parts.
