question about short throw?

Well I have a twm short throw and its great. But i heard from one of my friends that having a a short throw will wear out the syncros due to that fact they do not have enough time to line up again because of the shorter shifts.
i myself have never heard of this. So now im here wandering to go back to stock shifter becuase of this.

Basiclly my question is do short throws wear out the syncros?

Slamming gears isn't good for anything. People love to do it however...

A short through shifter only helps to wear out your transmission faster.

I hear a lot of talking, but I don't see any data to back-up these claims.

Just sayin'.

It was explained to me that people tend to slam through the gears with a short throw shifter. Maybe my old mechanic wAs wrong but I never had a problem with a short throw in my old gsx.

Finally!

Well, that would explain why I've had no problems with my transmission, now wouldn't it?
