What is the difference between the header and an intake manifold?

Red = intake manifold
Blue = headers

 

Since nobody has stated a purpose yet,

Intake manifold pulls air into the engine for cumbustion, the headers are the first line of the exhaust system. The headers lead to a down pipe which leads to the catalytic converters and muffler.

 

Yeah...so what you're trying to say is one sucks, one blows.
