why would you pay 30 something grand and not drive it in certain conditions? you know the evo is made for every possible condition right? well, maybe not rock crawling like those jeeps, but every other!!

I drive my Evo on everything, but try to avoid gravel roads even though I have mudflaps. The car was made to be driven not garage queened. Just my opinion.

Dirt, mud, gravel, rain, snow, sand, two track, my Evo has seen it all. I was doing SCCA TSD rallys with it when it had 6000miles on it!! Get it dirty it likes it! Nothing is more gratifying than an Evo with mud on the roof! LOL

I don't understand why somebody would NOT drive an EVO X in the rain? We've had so much rain this week. I just select GRAVEL and go about my business... the car is absolutely planted in pouring rain.

I drive in all conditions. I even hit small animals if they get in my way. I aim for cats.

Usually don't care but in some cases I do (some times I do care about rain). If it has gotten really dirty I will drive it in the rain to give it a free rinse. If I plan on showing it off somewhere and spent 4 hours washing, clay-bar, polishing, waxing and there's a few days of rain between those two events then I'll keep it in the garage. Right now there's bird poop on the roof and I missed out on a rainy day because I was driving my beater around, oh well.

Hell yes. Thats one of the great things about an evo. The AWD is just so much fun in the rain with the TC turned off.

Bird poop should be washed Asap. The acid (or whatever it is) in the bird poop eats away at the protective coat and paint on the car. To prevent scratching your car when wiping it off, use a high pressure from your water hose or soak the poop with water and slowly dab/gently wipe it away. Don't let it bake onto your car.

bird poop + sunlight = bad news
