Dumb Gas question
Ok I noticed this at the pump the other day and was curious... When I unscrew the gas cap .. Where you put the gas pump has no flapper thing inside. So the whole is open. Not sure if that normal or not. On my other cars they are closed until you put the nozzle in. I know its a silly question but my gas mileage is just gawd awful so reaching at straws..

I have stock plugs changed them about 2k miles ago. I get just about 200 miles on a full tank and is not really changed if I am highway or City. I am on the stock snail with stock injectors as well as stock fuel pump.

LOL.. I do enjoy the boost... Example was on the highway this weekend. Fresh tank of gas. 70 miles in and I was down to half a tank just a bit above. So City/Highway boost or not boost has not effected it to to much..
Whether you are boosting constantly or not, you should be able to get more then 200 miles on average. Are you sure you're actually driving your car until it's empty. It sounds dumb, but I know of a few people including myself that have always filled up their cars when they got to E and never really thought about the fact that they were putting in 4 gallons less then the tank holds.
If you're struggling to hit 200 miles on a full tank, then something could be wrong. That calculates to somewhere around 16 mpg, which is pretty terrible under the assumption that you're just doing typical daily driving. My IX typically gets somewhere between 19-20 mpg on the daily grind (it's bone stock with the exception of the OEM-sized Z1 Star Specs, though on the old OEM Advans my daily driving mpg seemed a hair higher, usually between 20-21 mpg), though the worst that I have seen in daily driving was just about 18 mpg, though this past weekend I hit 30.399 mpg, which is my all-time best.
