I've been out of the modding game for a while. Are people still doing methanol injection setups on Evo's? What are some current opinions on it's safety and reliability? When I left people were pretty divided on if it was a safe/cheap way to up hp or the work of satan that will send your car to an early grave. I'm thinking of doing bolt-ons, some mild cams, and meth inject. for stock turbo.

 

They have the fail safe systems now that won't harm your car if your pump dies or run out of meth! I still know a lot of people that do it and love it!!

 

As long as you have a good tune and great failsafes, it should be no worse than other mods...I love the gains - bang for buck unreal...
