I'm new to the group but i order'd a SRI from ebay ( ya im dumb but im poor so its cheap until i can afford a 200$ one and i've got to say they are much easier to install then i've heard. I was able to do it in the rain, with my 2 year old crying in my ear! that is all

 

congratulations. i dont think it was the sri that was giving people trouble, i think it was the cai. and another thing, i bought one from ebay too as my first intake. they work just fine.

 

Whats up with the mounting bracket? i dont get where it goes, i just drove it and i dont have one on but im worried its gonna fall off... imma try to go easy until it isnt raining you know where its supposed to go ?

 

Try a search for pics of SRIs on the forums. Maybe you can find one like yours to compare it to.

 

found some pix but none of them look like the intake i bought, its a pretty cheap one, serves its purpose i got a general idea now of where i should be putting the bracket imma try and mount it in the morning. Hoping my grounding kit comes morrow too so i can put that in.
