stock ec burnt !! please help

stock ECU burnt !! please help

i have an 06 evo my stock ecu is burnt, need to replace with a used one, please help on how to reprogram the new ecu to work with immobilizer.
the service guy said that i need to replace with brand new ecu !!! i know someone here knows how its done, please help!!!

Plug in

Connect with ecuflash and download rom

Download xml for your rom if you don't have one

Include these xml hacks to get periphery settings http://evoecu.logic.net/wiki/Periphery_Configuration

Disable the immobilizer by setting the FAA periphery bit 3 to 0 (its labeled as such)

Flash rom to car and done.

thanks for your reply, i have the car at the mitsubishi dealer and im wondering if they can do it using their scanning tools

i don't see why they can't reprogram the ecu to stock for you they should have all those tools. Their scan tool wont be sufficient though.
