Hello evo guys. I'm new to the world of evos and jdm in general, yeah I know the names ironic hahah. Anywho I just sold my 02 mustang gt and I'm going to be buying an evo very soon and I'm checking a few out this week. Just wanted peoples opinions on the difference between 8 and 9s, its hard to decide between a stock 9 MR or a decently modded 8 gsr. Looking to spend between 15 to 20k, so yeah I appreciate any help!

Wow great thread sorry I didn't search that first! Its still kind of hard to decide whether I shud get a modded 03 or a stock 06 or 05. I don't know how important mivec is really, and iv heard the 6 speed trannies have problems. I'll search later I'm at work right now thanks again tho lol
