Question Dsm turbo on an Evo? Please read

What's up everyone? I am new to the forum and hope to learn more about evo's. I hope someone can help me with this. I own a dsm and my friend that has an evo wanted to change his turbo. I have a Turbonetics 60-1 that I was planing on giving him. It is currently bolted up to a stock 2g manifold. Is there any way that this turbo is able to work on the evo. It is a 2003 evo 8. All help is appreciated.
