Finally Did It

After 6 months of researching, car shopping, and a couple of test drives I finally made my decision. I was debating between a STI, EVO, or going back to a E46 M3. The BMW out of the box is better than the other too in every way, but it is a maintenance king.

I picked up a 06 evo 9 this past Saturday and love it.

Some crappy photos in my dark garage.

Any one on here that lives in SF Bay Area?

2006 EVO 9 MR

Lightly moded

Performance:
Full tbe with a Greddy Ti cat-back
Cone filter
Injen Intercooler and piping
Wabro 255
Custom tune by Brian GST Motorsports
ACT street clutch
Greddy timing belt
Lowered a little on SWIFT springs
apex turbo timer (dont know how to use besides turning car off earlier)

Exterior:
Carbon Fiber Lip
Carbon Fiber Side skirt add on
Carbon Fiber Lip Spoiler
JDM rear bumper with custom rear diffuser
Shorty Anttena
35% tint all around

Puts out 300whp and 280wtq without the injen intercooler being tuned at the time. Thats probably pretty slow compared to you guys, but its more than enough to get me in trouble.

This is my DD so I might keep it as is. No plans of any mods unless a see a suggestion of MUST HAVE on a 9.
I don't street race, drag, autox, or track but I do like spirited driving once in a while. Currently unemployed and still a student, but if i start making money I will look into track and autoX

Super clean looking 9! Congrats on the new wheels. I'm over the GG Bridge in the North Bay but there is plenty of love in the Bay Area for the Evo

YES.......... the plate must go!!!

Just waiting for the bank to release title so I can go DMV.

Wheels are stock I believe. Your wheels are kool too, but white must be a pain to clean. I had white wheels on my GSXR 750 before and I gave up after 2 washes and never washed it again. LOL

For some reason my GF likes the big spoiler on the evo and she LOVES the spikes on roof. I like the lip spoilers a lot better. Had it on my G35 coupe and M3. Looks less ricey and cheap.

clean car man, thats a jdm bumper right? just in case, you might want to at least know if it has a crashbeam or not....not having it one day might bite you in the butt for insurance purposes

Has 67k miles. Picked up for $18.5k
I know its a lot but it has the modds that I want. If I was to buy a stock one and do the mods myself, it will cost me a even bigger chunk of money.

No crashbeam. How does it bite me later? I know tons of body shop that wants to work with me for my business.
