i should of waitted

It keeps bothering me that I kinda got ripped off for the evo that I bought its a 06 evo 9 mr apex silver its all stock 90k 1 owner no accidents car runs nd drives great no problems I got it at a dealer in reading pa for 17k in february and the car now has 98k I think I should waited a lil bit longer to find one with lower mileage I was just in patient and wanted one so bad... I'm eventually gonna rebuild the motor but I want your guys opinion to see if it was a good deal or not

The odds are the 90K are due to highway miles. Not the end of the world. The price isn't too bad, if the car needs nothing and runs as new with the overall condition to match. Did you have an extra $4,000-8,000 to spend on a one-owner, lower mileage IX when you bought it?

Well if you could have gone private parties and know how to search around the country, there are some good deals.

A buddy of mine bought an FP Red equipped EVO VIII with ce29 volks, coilovers, clutch, fuel system, etc with just under 13k miles for 18,500. Car got retuned immediately and hit some great numbers and has been a daily driver with no issues.

Seems like high milage evo, but i am sure the previous owner drove it mostly on highways and on streets. At most he probably tracked it a few times, if not, he probably hasn't seen the track, haha.
But to be honest, the amount you paid isn't too bad, but then again it isn't the price. Just make sure you take goo care of it and it'll take good care of you.

shoulda, woulda, coulda. There will always be a BBD. If you are happy with the car and happy with what you paid, then don't stress it.

Don't worry about the high mileage. If you gonna build the engine at some point u going to get wheels and suspension, is gonna be new anyways. Mileage is just a number.

90k in 3 years would have to be a ton of freeway driving, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

If its clean and in good shape, don't worry about it. Unmolested cars are somewhat difficult to come by. I purchased a IX not long ago from the original owner with 80k for just a tad bit more. I looked for a long time to find a good car and nothing was even as close to as nice as this. This is my dd, so I don't want crazy mods. I'm gonna drive the heck out of it and get my money's worth.

Like someone else said, mileage is just a number. Your 90k evo is probably in better shape than some of the 50k-60k mile evos people buy that are modded. Its all about how it was taken care of.
