Picking up an Evo on Thursday!

Hello fellow Evom members!

I've been lurking this forum for about 7-8 months, a little after my search for an Evo began. I missed out on some sweet low mileage options, but finally found myself a TB Evo IX SE with 30k and some nice upgrades that I'll be picking up in two days from a fellow member. I'm really psyched, this is my first AWD car, but by no means my first tuner car. However, I must say it's on quite a different level than the RWD platforms I'm used to. Anyhow, here's the mod list:

Engine/Drivetrain:
- AEM EMS
- Buschur Racing 35R Turbo Kit w/ Tubular Header
- Buschur Racing FMIC (BFIC Core)
- Buschur Racing Upper I/C Piping
- Buschur Racing Lower I/C Piping
- HKS 272 Intake Cams
- HKS 272 Exhaust Cams
- Road Race Engineering 3inch Down Pipe
- Road Race Engineering Stealth Exhaust
- Denso Fuel Injectors 720cc
- Walbro 255 High Pressure Fuel Pump
- Mini Battery kit
- Tial Wastegate
- Manual Boost Controller
- Brand new stock clutch and Trans synchros

Wheels/Suspension
- Blacked Out Stock BBS Wheels
- Nitto NTO1 Tires
- Stance Coilovers

Exterior:
- APR Front Lip
- JDM Rear Bumper
- JDM Headlights
- JDM Tail Lights
- Ralliart Aerodynamic Side Mirrors
- Tinted windows

Interior
- Defi Gauges (EXT & Boost)
- Keys Racing Steering Wheel
- Apexi Turbo Timer
- Pioneer Speakers

Debating about installing a double DIN alpine w404 in it...what type of insert do I need to do so and to relocate my temp controls to my single DIN? Input on ANYTHING would be appreciated, as well as what stock turbo parts I'd need to smog the car in the future!

Congrats! looks like a pretty quick car already! the climate control relocation is hard to find... but the double din part you can buy online easily.

you're going to need more then stock turbo to pass inspection if its on the AEM EMS.

Thanks! Yeah I just looked through a billion orbital threads, including the custom HVAC cubby conversion thread...I lack a dremel though haha every car has that one part that everyone wants and the manufacturer decides to discontinue...

I have the stock ECU, and I know I need a cat to replace the road racing exhaust. This is just my first foray into Evo's and I need a specific list of parts from people who've had experience with this...especially in Cali. Now before anyone says anything, I already know how tough it is to smog in Cali, so we don't need that discussion haha I just need a stock parts list of what I need minimally!
