What's up y'all???? like the title says I am a new owner of an 08 Evo mr. I had an 04 STI (328whp, 318 torque) loved the car.... long story short second kid was coming needed the bigger car (or mini van as my wife told me), and I think you guys can fill in the rest. I was seriously concidering an E46 M3 the putting an HPF turbo kit on it, however 25k for the car and 20k for just the turbo kit plus install.... I decided against it. My wife was the one who convinced me to look at the Evo, she knew I hated the look of the new STI. Again long story short I drove the Evo, loved it, and decided to buy it, so here I am.....

do u missed the stick shift on the sTi? i would stick with Sti over 08 mr automatic (230whp) . Your old Sti are much more powerful and lighter than the 08 MR. When it come to car, please dont listen to them woman dude. Just my .02cent

Last I checked stock Evo was 291 probably 267whp I think. I do miss the stick but love the Evo!

 

I do have more room in the Evo but we bought an Odyssey for the fam....

 

Only 9% drivetrain loss?? Wow that can't be right, I don't think even a chain drive motorcycle is that efficient ..

 

do some research my friend, 08' GSR put down 250whp , MR put down around 235 cuz of it auto transmission
