stock evo 9 tune

is it worth it to tune a stock evo 9 with a K&N intake, i would like to keep the car stock and just wondering what power gains i can get out of a tune

It's very much worth it, especially for the drivability.

If the K&N is a Typhoon, you may want to run a quick search.

stock evo 9 tune.............sucks *****, isn't optimal, runs a crap load of timing AND fuel and knocks like a bastard even on 93oct BUT ESPECIALLY on 90oct (which is what I have)

It's worth it, even though the car is stock you'll still see gains.

yes tunes are well worth the money, most hp gain for not much money at all

if you wanna keep it relatively stock... in addition to intake i'd get a highflow cat or resonated test pipe for better flow. with a tune you'd still close to 300whp and stock driving

as for tuner, i'd go with mellon. your tune would be child's play to any pro tuner so no need to go custom at all.
