Hi guys,

I'm checked out a local sellers 06 evo ix with ssl package with 42k miles on the car. The car was in good condition from the inside but the check engine light came on during the drive. He said he'll have it checked out tomorrow. The car is under warranty until next March and the seller won't go lower than $22k for it. Should I get it or just get a new evo x? I've always loved the 9 but I don't wanna end up buying a beaten horse. Any thoughts?

BTW- I joined in 03 but I ended up buying a 350z so I didn't log on to evom for a couple of years. Apparently my older account no longer works.

what mods are done to the car? could just be the random misfire code... more info on the car would help

 

u should just buy a X.. u dont have to worry about the car being beat on it.. if i could go back 3 years ago i would get a X just my .02

 

Want better performance go 9. Need better comfort and luxery go 10.

 

Get a IX, ....maybe just not that ix.... you should have whatever car you buy checked out by a mechanic. 60 - 80 dollars well spent.
