Wink clutch and flywheel

ok so i just jacked my clutch and i took it to a good tech. and he said that he could install a new clutch with warranty, he also said that he recommended a new flywheel... hes are gonna charge me $1000 for the install and i have to supply the parts. what kind of clutch should i get? (i my opinion i want an ACT or EXEDY stage 2 clutch kit) and what kind of flywheel (its a daily driver and really dont want a REALLY light one? willing to pay 700 for clutch and idk for flyw

For labor alone on the Evo 8 clutch install $1,000 is very very high. In fact that's the highest I've heard of by far for install. Normal install price is $500.00.

dude for 1,000 bucks ill do your clutch... and thats the one job i hate on these cars
dont pay that much for the install, thats rediculous

as far as what clutch to get, get the excedy twin disc.
i would highly recommend that you do not get an ACT.

The twin disc is an awesome clutch but it's pricey. Looking at $1,300-$1,400.
