A good buy or not?

(Sorry if this is posted in the wrong area, still newbish here lol)

I've been looking at an '03 Black Evo 8 for sale, and I'm thinking about buying it. It's going for about $13000 & has 84k miles. No accidents, no salvage title. The only mods done are a Speed Element OMG air intake & a catback exhaust (and different wheels, but I would be going back to stock wheels if I purchased the car). Does this sound like a decent deal? Here are a couple pictures of the Evo:

Thanks for any and all advice ahead of time!!

everything seems like its good just drive it and check it out from underneath the car.

Also check and make sure all the Vin tags are on every body panel if there not then chances are its been hit or repainted.

If it drives goood and is clean pull the triger

if the car checks out, that is a more than fair price. a car like that would be at an asking price of 15k or better in my areas

^Exactly what he said. Also, get it compression tested or do it yourself. That seems like a good deal and nice car.

Can't really tell by pictures, but go test drive the car to listen for any noises and get a feel for it. Drive it as long as you can. BTW socal has some killer deals on cars.

Seems like a good deal. Little mods, and nothing extreme? Check compression, pull check engine codes (it's an evo, it'll have check engine codes), look for frame damage under the hood, and under the car.

Then drive it and listen. You might have to replace belts if the guy hasn't yet.

Seems like a fair price. Mileage is ok too since the evo's hold abuse well (+ little mods). Drive it and Make sure to get an independent mechanic to do the typical inspections.

It def looks lowered as well. I would say it is a good deal but there may be more mods than the person is letting on. Take it to an inspection mechanic and pay the inspection charge for them to tell you if it is safe. Also since you are in cali I would make sire there is nothing making it impossible to pass smog.

Yeah, that's a nice price, just make sure that you drive it and see how it rides.
