Evo 9 MR Struts to Evo 8GSR... Interchangable?

I blew my right front strut... Might as well replace the other side while im at it.. One of my friends has the front set... He has an Evo 9 MR.. I have an Evo 8 GSR... Can I use his stock blisten struts/stock springs on my car???? Interchangable??? Im just getting the front from him...

Yes...but change them all. Preferrable to get MR springs too to match the rates the struts were designed for but not required.

yea im getting the whole setup.... struts and springs,,, the back suspension fits also???
