Hello everyone here on evom. My name is Andy and i'm from south Florida.
I've fell in love with the evo ever since 2006 when i passed by the mitsubishi dealer. A salesman offered me a test drive in one and shocked..the car is amazing. Currently, i'm driving a rsx type s...i did alot of stuffs to it, got it tuned with Kpro and with all the bolts on, the car is still suffered from not having enough torque for it to move...the top end is good but when do you ever go for 100mph....
I love everything about the Evo, the way it looks and the power and everything else of it. I've been looking for a evo 9 for couple months now in Florida but it seems like i cannot find one here. There are either 03-05 but none 06. Even if i find one, it is either heavily modified and missing this or that. I found myself as an Evo crazy lol since i go on autotrader and craigslist to look for one more than 5 times a day. I even planning to fly up north to get one but i think it's better to wait for the right one.
I know that the right one gonna come by sometimes in the near future and hopefully after waiting for 4 years...my dream will come true.

Welcome to the forums!
I was the same way when I was looking to buy an evo, and I never really found one, and kind of gave up. The one day I randomly checked craiglist and found my current Evo.
Hang in there man, you'll find the gem!

thanks guy, south florida is just a bad place to find an 06. I remember I didn't have the money to get one and there were so many them at the dealers. Now i have the funds but can't find one, well that's just life.

I found a Evo IX at Miami Import but the car is so beated up. The paint on the front calipers are all messed up, they even used red caliper paint to cover them. I could tell the car was modified and all the parts were taken off. I'm jealous...you guys are so lucky.
dude you are lucky...when i passed the dealership to look at the evo, (which i bought) I asked the salesman if I could testdrive it or at least ride in it. He told me yes, but only after i bought the car. amazing...

I know dude, most the salesman are being bad *** about "oh, you can't drive it unless you put down a deposit" or watever it is..you can't buy a used evo and not test drive it. They act like it is like a 40k car plus everyone who buys an evo love to drive it hard so you must know how it drives before you pull that trigger. Congrat on your car and i guessed u made a good purchase..
