Boost Question

So the stock evo 9 boost is around 18psi. I bought my car used and was wondering does it have a MCB on it. It is a evo 9 MR and it came with the stock boost gauge. At full boost it goes up to the 1.5 bar so I dont know how much is it really boosting.

Does this mean that my car has a MCB in it? I cant see anything aftermarket near the turbo. Car has been retuned before at GST.

could have looked up the conversion...its roughly 21psi

It might be ECU controlled boost. Ask GST about your car.

look between wastegate and nipple on compressor side for the MBC

I bought my car with 12 miles on it and haven't modded it one bit except for a boost gauge. I've seen 21psi before. BTW, I thought peak boost on a IX was 20.5psi from the factory
