I would say the above posts are WRONG, BOV = crap, Coil overs = worse then stock, How about TT, Boost Gauge, turbo back, computer, cams, set of race break pads, air guides, better fluid.

if the mods listed is not clear i think u need to go back and reread all the other posts, the stuff u have listed may work for u but without a aftermarket bov, and when ur stock is leaking, have fun with trying to adjust ur boost genious, and as for performance ur stock suspension, its only for one specification, are u going to use the same in auto cross and drag.

What mods require a better blow off valve? I will be done with stage 1+ in the next week and I know of a lot of people running 24 PSI and 350whp and it works fine, you must be running about 400whp right? No I bet you are close to 260 IF that so no need to replace it. So what are some lap times you run at some race tracks? Hmm, don't know? Maybe because you don't road race. If you really know the evo at all you would know the stock setup is one of the best. I had over 6,000 in suspension on my NSX and it was a pain in the *** to setup for each track. Do some lapping days and get back with me. Also people do the gay BOV for the noise and get to enjoy a ****ting stalling car. Read some posts the stock one is fine and aftermarket BOV's cause problems but what do I know.

first of all someone really needs anger managment course, by no means am I say that you are wrong, and I have plenty of track time, just to let you know, in both a wrx, and sti, and my own evo. and there are also plenty of threads from people who tune cars for a living stating that the stock bov does leak, and not like others there is a recirc bov, and alot of us are not into the whooosh, " assumptions is the mother of all fuq up" relax buddy we dont need this type of uncontrolable anger of a thread

He may be blunt, but hes right fellas. No one as yet to discover an actual benefit to a BOV compared with the stock DV.

Follow this path and youll be good to go.

Maybe add lightweight wheels to the mix later on, but that won't give you as much performance for the money.

I have a extra set of stock wheels and they are pretty light, I am not sure the exact weight but not too heavy for the size. Also they seem made very well.

I am not mad I just know that the stock BOV works fine, and for some reason people think it leaks. I wish someone would do a dyno before and after to prove this but until someone does it's a waste of $200.00 Also who said the stock one sucks? Not Buschur or Shiv? Who is this pro you are talking about?
