Need someone to look under their dash with HID's

I took my car to the dealership to have my steering column replaced, and when I came out of there, I noticed later that night that my dash lights dont work!

I did some looking, and I found that the levelling and dimming light switches aren't connected at all. I looked everywhere and I couldnt find where they need to connect to either, its like their missing.

Can someone please look under their dash and tell me where the two switches hook up into, is it the column or into the engine bay, etc??? I need to try and trace these wires asap so I can drive my car again.

Any help, or a wiring diagram that shows it would be awesome. Thank you,

Josh

wires

The two connectors that go to the level switch and the dash light switch come really close to the fuse box. If you loosen up your lower dash panel(one right below steering column) you should be able to look into underdash and see connectors. You can also lay on your back and look up, but thats more difficult. The one connector is gray and I cannot remember other ones color.
Hope this helps

Can't you just take it back to the dealership and make them finish what they started? They shouldn't be able to tear your car apart, do something to it, and not put it back together properly.

I would have turned around and brought it directly to the dealership that worked on it. Don't wait too long or they'll try and say that they aren't responsible.

Thanks for the replys. I went back today to talk with them and they said that he guy who worked on it wasn't there, and I'll have to wait until Monday. I've hardly ever brought my carto someone else to be worked on, and the little things like this is why.

I'll just find it myself. So the harness goes directly by the fuse box? I'm thinkin it's just tucked away (hopefully).

Also, hey replaced my rack too, and installed the rest of my whiteline balljoint kit, and now when I move the wheel, it's not smooth from lock-to-lock like it should be. It's more of a "easy to turn then Gets a little harder then it's easy again" movement, make sense?

Thanks guys. The weird thing I saw was the dealership was hundreds lower on doing both of these for me than any other shop I've called, I thought that was really weird...
