I'm running Falken Azenis RT-615k's. 245/45/17

I like them, but they are kind of pricy.

Nitto NT05, 255/40/17. 255/40 is a much better size for our cars than 245/45

This is wrong.

There is little reason to run 255/40 on the street. 245/40, 245/45, and 255/40 all have their place. But saying something that black/white is a fallacy.

OE is fine for most drivers.

Shorter tire = needs more RPM to spin at the same speed as OEM. Wider = slower steering response. Heavier = uses more power to spin and more brake to stop.

You will not reach the ultimate grip of a 255/40 in DD. You will notice the drawbacks.

I would run 235/45/17.

245/45 is great for AX gearing and 1/4 gearing (taller for gearing, some loss in response). 245/40 is good for AX/Track (also shorter, but gains on on turn-in response).

This topic has be well covered. I really recommend searching and reading.

Hankook Ventus V12 Evo in stock size (235/45/17).

FWIW, the RE760s are fairly heavy for the performance they offer. Take a look at this:

The 760 is a great tire to have for moderately aggressive street driving. Semi quiet, good riding, great dry, etc. Overall a great dd performance tire.

1.6 60ft on snow tires!!!
That's Awesome! Good Job

Direzza Z1 *specs 255/40/17, I only have a couple thousand on them so I can't really give too much review yet, other then for Camber I am running 3.2F/2.1R, I can snap the wheel around a 90* turn at 40 and they don't make a sound, they just grip. This is a track setup of course, but stock size, you will get more wear then the stock advans, not give up too much grip and they won't flatten your pocket book.

Tire selections here is very limited and the NT01s were out of stock. Not even the Dunlop SP600s were available so I went with Michelin PS2s (255/35/18) on stock BBS.
Definitely not as good as the SPs (lost 10% of the confidence I had before), but Im sure they'll last longer. Cant wait for the NT01s to come back in stock. Next time Ill order offline.
