From R34 GTR to Evo IX GSR..

Hi all sifu.

I just bought the E9 GSR to replaced my previous ride.

I hope to find more friends and info regarding this tarmac terror's machine.

BTW, I'm from Malaysia.

Regards,

Mitsu_san

Hi, welcome...

Congrats on the Evo. Hope you enjoy your stay. Evos are awesome cars that can be made in to road / track monsters without breaking the bank. I wish you many safe and happy miles with yours.

As per requested.

Photos of my 'ex-wife'..

Photos of my 'newly married wife'..

Due to economic downturn early this year, I have to sell both of my cars, which were GTR R34 & E46 325i, as I have to reduce my monthly overhead.

Now I'm back on track and Ive decided to drive a new different car instead of GTR.

All I can say, Evo and GTR are two different beast, with a two different league. I cannot simply compare from one to another, as both of them have their own characters.

My previous EVO owner had changed the stock turbo to tomei ARMS M7960, add the HKS EVC boost controller and defi meters.

My next plan is just to complete the stage 1 mods which I plan to change the exhaust, ECU, fuel pump, fuel reg and some additional parts as well.

Im still continue reading of all the useful infos from this forum and learning some technical stuff from all the Gurus here.

Thanks & Regards.

Actually, I didn't plan to sell the GTR 34 in the first place, but I have to..

In term of stability and comfort, GTR wins big time. You can cruise the GTR with the speed of 220km/h - 250km/h with one hand on the steering wheel and the other hand on the phone..

You will feel like you are in a space rocket, very fast, straight and a lot of G's..

You also can eat m3 for breakfast & porsche for lunch!

As for the Evo, I can say that I have different feelings..

In term of comfort, so-so..but the handling wise, I just feel like I'm a Schumacher driving in F1 circuit..It's a lot fun in it and very easy to handle and predict.

The torque is alive, but the top speed is something that I have to pay attention!, not so much stability in the long run..sometimes I just feels like the engine is going to blow!

You will feel like you are in a fighter jet!...hehee..noisy, quick and responsive..
