I'm running Manley h-beam rods with WISECO pistons that with boost my compression up to 9.5:1 for my future plans of a FP Black turbo. I'm satisfied so far and I'm still on a IX turbo.

Supertech is valves and valve springs....can't really go wrong with any of the name brand stuff....I run CP pistons and manley rods.

Supertech does make pistons, they just aren't commonplace. From what I've heard they're very similar to a Mahle piston with a focus on being lightweight and they're cheap! Wiseco is our go to piston for the Evo platform and we've had great luck with them. You can go with Eagle or Manley H Beams if 600whp+ isn't in your plans, more than that and I would recommend either our Ultimate Duty I Beams or Manley Turbo Tuff. Feel free to PM me if you have any further questions, I would love to help you source whatever you decide to go with!

This....I haven't even pulled my motor and I've spent alot......Depends on what power level your looking at. Rods, Pistons, L19 head studs, main studs for the bottom end, Cosworth head gasket...list goes on and on, new water pump, oil pump....etc... Then comes the machining, do you want the block O-ring'ed? there are tons of machining options. (just a quick example)

If i was to do it all over again....i would def consider getting a bottom end that is already assembled by buschur or something.

There are tons of threads on this subject already

call maperformance, ask for mason, absolute fantastic customer service, and yes its expensive but the more you buy the better pricing they'll give you. Never once did mason try to sell me stuff i didn't need but the right combo for my build.
