Hello all, I'm new to the Evo boards, and am considering picking one up. I've owned and built several 240's, RX7s, a Galant VR4, Miatas, a WRX, etc. Figured I'd check in. Nice to meet you all.

 

welcome! dont look around the boards too much... it makes you want to spend money on things you never knew you needed!

 

I think you will be really happy with an evo. I have an evo 8 and have had it since new. No regrets!

 

If ur considering picking up one I got a clean BBY for sale but might be to far for u

For now the plans are to sell/trade the GTO to pick up an Evo VIII. Hopefully I can find one that's stock or very close to stock for auto-x. Once I'm comfortable with the limits of the vehicle in stock trim, then I'd likely focus on handling and braking as much as I can without being pushed into street modified class. I've got my 240's to mess with for my rwd fix.

 

Oh this 30 day wait to list my GTO on here is gonna kill me, I keep seeing Evo's I want!
