If I were you I wouldn't want a "cheap" built motor. Its an area where you really shouldnt slack on spending. As far as companies. You have Buschur Racing, AMS, and other similar shops that all offer motors that can be shipped. These comapnies can budget build you a motor, so it can keep it within a budget. G/L

I guess cheap is the wrong word... What I meant is more like someone did a nice build on a motor but then totaled there car 5k-10k later and now has a nice motor that they may sell for a nice price.

i bet youd find one in a fairlytale junkyard with lots of other fully built imports and unicorns.. gl

edit - if there was one, the junkyard that had the car would 99% have no idea what is done to the internals of the motor

Define cheap? some ppl's views of cheap are very different. To me a 3K built motor (depending on what’s done) is a reasonable price (without core).....in reality if you have a good core, and only need the bottom end, Buschur, AMS...etc all have pretty good price's on bottom ends....

Heck you can do and Eagle rod motor for pretty cheap on you own

You don't know where it is? It's next door to the Harbor Freight that sells snapon tools and aluminum magnets
