evo IX turbo on Evo VIII

I got the car tune on a mustang dyno and it seem to be a little low for the amount of boost it setup. 25 PSI and 297hp!
I went to the track 1/4 miles. My best time was 12.827 at 106.7 mph and 60ft 1.723. is those number sound ok to me it seem low!

How much power are you expecting to pick up? Your not gonna gain a whole lot just switching to a ix turbo

going off of your sig, a tune would help you out. but as stated just switching turbos isnt gonna net u much if any extra power

If the first 5 words he states that he was tuned on a mustang dyno.

That number is pretty low for 25psi. Friend of mine just put down 362/359 uncorrected at 23psi, but he has Kelford 264's.

that trap speed seems low. i would think it should be at least 109ish mph.

Boost leak? Your trap numbers are rather low.

Seems almost spot on for a 9 turbo on a 03 with 264 HKS cams on a real reading mustang dyno.

I have the stock VIII (10.5)23.5psi hks 272's and supporting mods, my best time so far is 12.3@114mph. I think you should be around the same maybe 12.5@110, like others said boost leak probably.

That is exactly what I ran on my 03 with a 9.8 Housing.

106MPH you can get with an Intake/Exhaust/Tune.

You are missing at least 6MPH in the 1/4 mile.

them numbers seem way to high on a stock ix turbo at 23psi. my IX made just a little more then that on 28psi on gsc s1 cams which are 268 duration
