Is there a big difference?

I just put my FP green in its hitting full spool at like 5500 RPM I know it wont be for long after I get tuned.

Does anyone have dyno plots on how large the gain is ? Or does anyone have a personal story?

Heh my evo 8 and 9 at 22 PSI felt stronger than this.

 

A tune on your car is probably going to be the most dramatic noticable mod you can do and honestly there are tons of threads on this. Check out the dyno and tuning section.

 

Huge difference. I wouldn't even be driving that car so it hits full spool.

youre playing with fire just "throwing" in a new turbo untuned like that... amazed you haven't blown anything up yet... drive around sure but turn the boost WAYY down till someone tinkers with the motor to accept such a HUGE component to the engine, its not just an intake/exhaust dude.

exactly. your car is tuned for a 9 turbo which obviously is way different then a red. your playing with fire getting into boost without a tune for the red. your safe driving it around out of boost.
