The Diesel/Truck Newb

Hey guys whats up? Im the new guy... I have been around vehicles my whole life but restoring them and working on them. Im quite the diesel truck freak so I guess me bein on here is kinda funny since most of the time those two crowds are the complete oppisite hahaha... But I love all vehicles that are done right and that people take pride in... I have recently been wanting to get a car to play around with and I live in CO so I needed somthing thats good in the snow and Ive always loved Evos so I decided thats what its gunna be I also like bein different and there is only one maybe two Evos in my town... So I hope to make learn some and make some car talk buddies and would be glad to here and suggestions for a future purchase!

My Evo with Blizzak snow tires is good up to 8 inches or so, then it starts getting lifted. Snow tires are an absolute must with this car. I tried using stock Advans in 1 inch of snow (and yes I know how to drive in snow) andit was downright scary.

Aren't there only like 40k people in Grand Junction?

It seems to not have as much wet traction as others, but for snow and ice the Blizzaks are the best, especially for the first 5k miles or so. I drive my car more like a normal person than an autocrosser, but the Blizzaks definitley aren't road course tires..Everyday driving their okay.

I almost took a job in Grand Junction in 98 and I thought there weren't that many people. I guess it might have grown a bit.
