If you could get a decent deal on a 2003 that just hit 100k would pick it up. Stock, clean car fax 2 owner? If so what would you think would be a decent price. KBB has them around $12,200 private party.

i bought my evo at 138k for just a lil over 12g's... it was stock aside from a tbe... but the car was flawless... detailed so 90% of any minor scratches/rock chips were removed... completely stock motor... stock clutch... interior was redone with new recaros... original mits-evo8 floor matts... no squeaks or odds sounds anywhere at anytime... everything works perfectly... and this is my second evo... with my first evo only having 30k on it... i honestly dont feel any difference in performance...
all i can say it... test drive it the way you would drive it if it was already your car... take some hard turns... get on the brakes... boost couple gears... listen to her idle... smell around for any rubber/metal burning/rubbing... check all electronically controlled devices... tires/oil level ALL LIGHTS in the headlight housing/side markers... ok i think i've said enough... *edit* also check for any liquids leaking before/after test drive...

^ This, because there aren't many 100k+ Evo's running just fine on here.
Think about it this way if the car actually made it to 100k miles without many problems chances are good that it was taken care of. All modern cars should easily do 100k miles without major issues, but if you beat the hell out of any car your raising the chances of breaking something. A 100k mile mostly highway car is probably going to be better than a 60k mile car that's been driven hard and city driven most of it's life.
