I think i can affect the engine performance if its overfill(you'll be okay at 5 quart since its just another .2-.3qt you can burn that like in a month), always check the dip stick to be safe

I'm going to change the oil with Mobil 15w-50 and stock filter.

Any weight recommendations?

Run M1 30-weight instead.

Thank you all for the wonderful comments, makes me know my purchase was a good one. Ive wanted an Evo for years and finally got one. So happy to be back in the DSM world. My last DSM I owned was a 1991 Galant VR-4.

RR for the win. Very clean looking. Do you plan on getting different gauges?

Looks really nice. I thought all MRs had those extra-small side mirrors.

Just installed a JUN BL, full 3 inch from down pipe back. No cat or resonators. WOW, what a difference. New pics.

Found out car has a FP Red, Bluemax 1250cc Injectors, Walbro 255, Not sure about the cams "need to look into that", Hallman MBC, Injen intake with UICP and LICP. I added a JUN BL full 3 inch down pipe back no CAT. It has to have some sort of tune because of running the 1250cc injectors so well. Idles at 1,000 to 1,100rpms. Hooked it up to my buddies EvoScan and it seems to be running strong at 22psi, with only 4 counts of knock around 6K under full load. Going to take it soon to be tuned and see whats really going on in there, also want to get it dynoed.
