Mine were looking good at 46K miles, then I tracked it and they turned brown pretty quickly

It really varies and doesn't happen to all calipers, but I'd say it happens to most.
We do have a good solution to the problem though!

There's a post on here about using high temp paint if your brembos are just starting to fade (ie pink not brown fade). I used high temp clear paint on my brembos and the pink turned to glossy red. Cheap fix and if you didn't wait too long you can't even tell they ever faded.

I'd think how well you clean off any brake fluid after bleeding the brakes has a bit to do with it as well.

Never tracked my Evo and I don't drive aggressive to the point of where they would heat up that much to cause them to peel.

I noticed mine peeling right around 40k miles, I have an 06 MR, literally just got them warrantied this weekend at the dealer all the way around and didnt cost me a cent, shockingly they even threw on the set of Hawks I just bought for free

mine were pink and fading at 80k, touched up with the brush on paint and new decals, good for the last 10k!

Most sets I have seen going in the 30-50k range. There really is no set mileage though.

Its the cheap clear coat they use. I just went to autozone and bought some clear coat, lightly sanded the front calipers and re-sprayed them. Looks bad a** now.

Mine were fading at 22k. I also started getting yellow bubbles. Replaced under warranty though.
