I bought my car last year with 27k and the clear coat was already faded. The car was owned by an old man so it was barely driven let alone tracked. It just happens when it wants to some times i guess. I did find out they look better if you scrape the clear coat off. They turn from a pinkish brown color to a light red color. Once the others start to peel i'm picking off the clear coat.

TCC will be getting my calipers soon so they can look fresh again!!

i think it all depends on how much you clean them. Worste case you can use a nice enamal paint that will usually last a while.

Unlike a kid who's concerned with going to meets, impressing is friends, and decorating his car, and older driver buy an Evo for one reason only.

I bought my car with 39k and the front clear was peeling.
Reclearing them is on the list, but now I'm wondering if I should change the color to black and if that will fade also?
I'd like to stick to a "stock" brembo color

whats the situation with the warranty on this problem? like mileage ? can they void your warranty for the calipers if you have any mods done to the car?

just get them powder coated somewhere. Won't be very expensive and will last pretty long.
