How old where you when you got your evo?
I think the question should be 'what percentage of your yearly income did you spend on your Evo'.
It would at least identify priorities.
For me, it was about 14%.
My first car cost $900. I went in on it with my sister.
My second car cost $400.
My third car (first Mitsubishi) cost $8400 when I was making $18,000 a year. That's 46.7%, and that was stupid. I should have waited, or bought a cheaper car.
I wonder how many Evo owners have spent > 50% of their annual gross salary on one?

Anyhow, I was 33 when I got mine in Texas and drove it back to Colorado 3 years ago. It's a 03 BBY, it had 30k miles and now has 82k. Doing my T-belt over Thanksgiving weekend and some minor upgrades.
Couldn't agree more. Home first. Got mine at 30.
How in the hell are these kids getting these cars at 16,17, 18 etc.??? Insured under mom and dad... I have nothing on my record and live in Nebraska... My insurance is still high.
I guess however you get one.... God love ya.

I'm almost 30, so I'll field this: Married, kid on the way in march. Wifely was good with this car since it's a 4 door.
31 married 11 years already. 3 kids. 2nd house. 1st Mitsubishi coming off 4 straight Audi's. Wife can't drive a manual so the question is should I teach her in the new EVO?
