New Member and Car

I use to own a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer (ES) but traded it in because it had a few good mile's on it and I will be moving to Houston in January for school (UTI) and needed something BRAND NEW and VERY RELIABLE

I still own my other vechile which is 2006 Chevy Monte Carlo SS but the gas is killing me to drive it from Houston and back so I decided just to store it and sell it when I get back to get what I really want

I just recently purchased a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer (GTS)

Going to do very small thing's to the engine such as CAI,MSD and changing the rim's to either some white Rota's or OZ Rally's. Cause I'll be trading this car in,in a year,so I don't want to boost it

2.4L Stage 3 Clutch

09 + GTS KYB GR-2 Shocks

TEIN S.Tech 09+ Lancer

one of the first things i wanna do is change the stock chrome tails to mr black. saw a video in the how to. just fixed a coolant leak... the 3in line from under the thermostat housing to the turbo. Just put the blizzacks on, with this much power they feel sketchy. But i cant wait till it snows.

If you are planning on trading in a year, I am assuming for an Evo? If so, and this is just my 2 cents, but why not save the 1-5k you plan on mods, which you prob wont see back when trading in, and save it for a nicer lump on Evo downpayment?

LoL ya I was surprised when I saw that my tail's come with black housing compared to the older model's that had white housing

The only reason I got the Lancer is because my 2010 Lancer was a car to help build my credit higher. I was able to purchase my parents each a Outlander and myself a Lancer GTS. I was going to get a Ralliart but they wanted to much for it and plus they said that after a year my credit would not be as good as the Lancer since the Lancer, obviously,is cheaper than the Ralliart.

I still have not decided on what I'm going to get. I was told by the sale's man,who happens to be a family friend, that my credit score would be around the 750+ mark in a year and I could come trade the Lancer for an EVO if I wanted too.

But I was orginally planning on getting a GT500 and keeping my SS has a daily driver. But after thinking about it I think I'm going to trade in my SS in a year and see if I can keep my Lancer for a daily and buy me my GT500 with the badass credit I will have. That's why I'm not worried about putting 2-3g's into the Lancer.

Plus I won't need much of any downpayment with my credit score being that good. I only put 3,500 on my Lancer and didn't have to put shyt. But then again my payments are only 400 a month for less than year cause i traded in my 06 Lancer that I had given to my mom when I graduated high school in 2006.

And my SS I will be using has a down-payment for the new car whether it be GT500 or EVO
