Clicking noise associated w/slipping clutch!?

So this is to all you gear heads who really know these trannys, clutches, and differentials. I have recently had a Perrin intercooler, UICP,LICP, Perrin intake, AMS 3" turbo back exhaust, o2 housing, and boost controller installed with a professional tune @25 psi. The first day I got it back, the clutch was doing the classic 4th & 5th gear highway slip when I would floor it. Now 3rd does it on city streets too. Obviously I've started to baby it to save $ for either the ACT set up or the Exeddy twin. Anyway, now I am noticing a very faint ticking noise coming from the left front area (or tranny area, next to left front wheel) only when I accelerate. This happens in all gears and every time I accelerate. This DOES NOT happen when I am at a stop and rev the engine, or coasting in neutral, so it is not engine related. The big question is, is this related to the slipping clutch or is there some very big deap transmission issue? BTW the clutch is a stocker and car has 29k miles on it. I am terrified that I will get a call when i go to get the clutch installed that I need a new tranny or something like that. What do yall think it is?
