A 2.3 with a 950R is not a recipe for a drag car, nor a fun, make the girls scream, push sideways out of a corner street car. It's a big turbo (lag) and a low rev limit (8K) and an extra gear change (5th) before you cross the 1/4 line. 2.3+6262 = better. 2.3+T/S HTA 3586= better still. 2.4+T/S HTA3586= better and better! 2.3 or 2.4+ borg warner EFR 8373= best until something better comes along. Just my opinion, of course.

 

So with the ams900x with 2.3litre will be great? How it compare a 2.3litre with gt35r with 1.06ar..

^^ well, in terms of drag the 900x will make if not better than the 6262 the same power, but for street fun i still think that the gt35r is the coolest turbo to play with.
i have a ams gt35r on my 2.2 built right now and i luv it, but idk y is it that for me until im not around a 1000whp im never satisfied, i guess i should blame my supra for that habit of mine lol.
so i am thinking of getting the ams 950r kit but only cuss i could rev high(witch at that point my car would be no longer street friendly cuss of the lag).
but if i had a 2.3 or a 2.4 i wouldnt go any higher or lower than 900x, i know it must be a blast to drive.
