That's exactly what I said, you need winter tires not the Advans, they suck at this type of condition. Also I don't think it gives you a lot of pleasure hiting the breakes and seeing how the car struggles to stop (in Advans ofcourse).
My advise thiner the size of the winter tire for the snow better for you. Just check the WRC cars how "wide" tires they have when they rally in the winter.

Nice ENGRISH!
Yep Skrib. When I got my car and also when I went to dealerships looking for my Evo, I noticed a little sticker on the drivers door. In yellow and black it reads MMC recomend you use winter tires for winter driving. Something like that. NYC just got its first snow storm and you know what. Little Evo is in the garage. I would rather walk then take it out in the snow PERIOD
ah alright, they didnt make me watch a movie nor did i remember seeing a sticker on my car but oh well i just wanted to make sure, i assumed it was the tires anyway... what recommendations do you make on winter tires? what do you all use? also im guessing its not harmful to the tires in anyway using them in the snow, the advans that is?
