Hello,
I'm currently running Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec tires but after putting 3k to 4k miles I see the tire thread dispearing!!!!!
Also for some damn reason chunk of rubber is missing on front left tires... I shouldve got road protection from tirerack
I would like some opinion from the Evo owners on good and cheap tires for DD use.. I don't track just 60 miles round trip to work on weekdays and weekend driving ... looking for something would last little longer than Dunlop...
Thanks for the help!

Well covered.
Z1* (RE11, NT05, etc) are extreme performance tires. They are meant to give you the most grip and handling at the expense of life.
Also, make sure your alignment is correct. Poor alignment, sticky tires = very fast wear and low life.
ZIII and Hankook Evo v12s are great DD options. I suggest search and reading on those.

I have run the Falken ZIEX 512's as all seasons back in the day. They worked fine in all conditions never an issue.
I have summer wheels and dedicated snow tires on the stockies now though.

Might want to check out Hankooks V12 EVO as well. Pretty popular inexpensive sport tire also.

Federal makes a nice cheap tire. Based in Taiwan and they have a motorsports program. they are 595 series. I read up on them cause my buddy had them on his evo. They will not be near as sticky as Dunlops though.
