For 450-500 on a Mustang (if it reads like Dave's) it will only be a Black on a stock motor. If it reads like the "new" generation Mustangs (Cobb Plano, Cobb Surgeline, TTP, etc.) it will be easy on a Red.

If that was the exact limit of your mods (i.e stock boost control system, exhaust, etc.) then your car is on a dyno that is 13% less than our DJ. A Black on good fuel will make 500-520whp at 31-32psi and 400 ft lbs (historical limit for rods) on our dyno but its more of a drag race tune than something I'd lap for 20 minutes.

On the other hand doing a turbo kit (twin scroll or single) can keep the torque down and the power up more which is safer on the bottom end in the long run.
