Accessport Question

So i just bought an accessport after i got tuned at iveytuning, my question is, is there any way to install the accessport on my ecu now and not loose my tune. i know when you install the accessport it ask if you would like to save the "stock" map (does that mean the map thats on the car?) i need someone that has done this already to confirm that it works and i will not loose my tune thats on my car now.

someone has to know about the accessport come on guys i really need to know this!

The AP will save your current tune as your "base/stock" ROM.

yea it didnt work... i installed it, had to select a map on the accessport so i selected valet mode... and after it installed i went to change map to change it back to my "stock" map and the option for stock map wasnt there? so i uninstalled it hopefully it put my iveytune map back on

Exactly, it puts your ECU back exactly how it was before you installed the AP. If you're already tuned why are you trying to install the AP? You can always copy/paste your current tune in ECUFlash to ATR so you can use it with the AP.

you know it pisses me off when ppl say read this read that research this research that, obviously im posting this cause i did research this research that... im sitting in my car right now waiting for an answer on good searching everything while waiting and i cant find it... im not asking how to plug the accessport in im now asking how i use ecuscan... i have the program installed and i have the wire to my computer to the ecu using the accessports dongle and usb wire... i cant scan the ecu... so what do i need to do in order for this to work.

accessport

the accesport save the rom you have, but my advice is save your stock rom in ecuflash , you can also pass the info of that rom to the accesport if you get acesstuner race program.

it take some time but works fine

Again, what exactly are you trying to accomplish here? As far as I can tell you were tuned with ECUFlash, but you want to have access to that tune with the Acessport? If so, do as I said, copy/paste the tables from ECUFlash to ATR. ECUFlash files are not viewable with ATR and vice-versa.
