got around 1k to spend. any suggestions?
i wont be doing drop ins. my block has held up this long, im sure it can hold up for a few more months. plus i herd its not good to do drop ins in an engine with a lot of miles. im getting close to 75K
ill do a 2.4 and twin disk during the summer

if you're gonna do a 2.4 and a clutch in the summer, then save it for that. or go buy glo lights or somethin. maybe some dopeazz walmart dragon seat covers. i like the "tazmanian devil" ones.
Like I said, don't really need to save for the built stuff. I'll worry about that when time calls.
I think I'm going to get a va diffuser and powdercoat my calipers unless anyone else has better ideas/suggestions
I'll wait a few days for more suggestions before I do that though.
maybe i missed it but if your scared of breaking your tranny....why not save up just a little more and get it built?? just more security for the future..plus you can use it with your 2.4
im looking more towards engine parts or exterior. carbon fiber accessories, diffusers, etc etc.
any more ideas besides built engine, tranny, transfer case? throw em at me.
i havent seen a ported and polished head on your list...but then again im sure thats another thing your waiting to do in the summer...besides it will give you a reason to throw those new cams in!
would they really be necessary for a street car? i was considering whiteline items but couldnt decide on them. do you have any first hand experience with them?
yeah thats another summer thing. i can slap those cams in in about 45 min. just to lazy to do it with the cold lol. ill man up soon and do it(now that i found a small heater)
there are just some thing i dont see being much useful in a street car. this is one of them. if im wrong, correct me but i really dont see my self putting one of these to much use on the street.
na not really. all i got are some cheap coilovers. and the 1k i got isnt going to get me what i want so ill wait till next winter for some nice coilovers. i dont have anything else though. i dont see upgraded sway bars making a difference on the street. only thing ill prolly get are adjustable rear lower control arms.
what other suspension parts did you have in mind?
ehhh...gets me from A to B.
thanks for the suggestions guys. keep em coming. so far my list is:
1.rexpeed va style diffuser
2.powdercoate brakes
3. some whiteline items
i do think my endlinks and some balljoints are out or going out. ill have to double check those next time i have the wheels off.

you could fix up things that could be damaged such as fender liners or repaint front bumper from the miles and get it clear bra'd, could get window tint, detailing products, or a set of summer tires.
well it depends how much HP and TQ you plan to make and it gets rid of the vibration you get when driving on the highway not completely but it does help
