Help

So this month im going to buy my next car. I want a evo x, but my dad has a 2003 svt cobra putting 500whp and he would sell me that for 20k. So I kind of want to buy it from him becuase ive always like cobras and its cheaper then the evo. I know i could drive the evo in the winter but thats what I have my f350 dually for. So if you where in my spot what would you buy.

Have you driven both cars yet? It really comes down to which car YOU like most.

Also... do you like going fast in a straight line? Or going fast thru corners?

Man that's kind of a though decision. 20k for a termi is a pretty good deal. But would you be taking your dad out of a cool hobby or does he have other sports cars or ambitions? As for you it really comes down to personal preference. I don't think that anything sounds as cool as a 03 and up cobra, roots blowers have the most awesome sound. I use to own a 97GT with an eaton, I also had bilstiens all the way around. I think that they are completely different driving experiences, I prefer rear drive platforms for messing around when it is nice out but the evo's 4 doors and awd make it a unbeatable daily combo for me. I have driven faster cars than my evo, but I personally have never driven anything that out handles it. The cool thing is that you can have fun with it all year round. Even if I had a dedicated daily driver I would still consider building an evo for a street/stip or weekend car, but I would be open to many other options as well, other options would be a c6 or ffv cobra.

Well my dad is building a factory five 33 ford kit, so he's has other toys but, thinking about it, I would rather have the 4 door. And awd so I can use it all year. You are right when I drove my friends x it hhandle so nice.

Is the F250 for work or trailering to track days? If not than sell that and buy an evo

Nah definetly do not sell the truck to get t he evo. Anyone that owns cars like these needs a good trailer puller on the side. I couldn't tell you how many times I have had to put my GSX or my Evo on a trailer.

I had an evo and sold it for an 03 cobra. I did a Kenne bell all supporting mods and my cobra made just under 650hp to the ground. And now I sold the cobra and bought another evo.

Evo is more practical, 4 doors, and you can drive it year round. My vote is evo.
