Not sure how much power you're aiming for but the stock turbo can put out a lot as is. Not like 500whp on pump a lot, but a decent amount. I'd say find someone that can tune the stock ECU with ecuflash*. IMO the stock ecu in the evo has more support that the subarus. Better yet go tephra! Tephra makes the evo ecus do amazing things!

The 94 octane gas shouldn't be too bad btw. We have Petrocanada 94 octane with 10% ethanol and its not too bad. Plus 94 in Quebec costs almost $1.40/liter so don't complain . Not sure if 93 tunes can apply to our gas though.

I know I will be bored of the power fast, but I don't want anything ridiculous at all, just enough... it is my daily driver and winter beater too! I think it will tide me over for a little bit (that is my hope... but I know I will want more eventually....)

 

I say forget the Green and go with a CBRD BBX or a BBX-Lite. You will not be disappointed.

go with a red/1200cc inj... and get a conservative tune then... this way when u want more power you have the room to grow!

Haha well I got am amazing deal on a green off a guy I know plus 850s.. I could not say no! So I'll stick with it for at least a year (forcing myself) and see what I think...
Yah, I agree, Canada is pretty awesome! The winters in Edmonton however really suck *****... I grew up on the west coast in Victoria and we rarely saw below freezing temps.. Now here I have seen as low as -45 (C and F meet at -40) and **** tons of snow... Summer is great though.
I will try to get pics today, it's actually staying light out past 4pm again... If not this weekend for sho

Welcome! As for being a girl I dont look at it that way, your someone that has a love for cars and that's what's awesome. My girl works at a shop and has a highly modded X tuned by AMS, so if you have any questions I'm sure she's been though it.(she also used to be a subie girl, lol) I have a modded 8.
She likes my car more than hers and I really wanted a ten, but thought I should learn to rip mine apart before I get a ten.
