im compleatly new with a questing

hello guys my names mike and im about to make buy a evo ex in the next couple weeks 08-10 evo gsr. my question is would this be a good buy and are these cars all the same or have they changed anything in the past three years ? ive loved the evo since i was 14 and have always wanted one now that im 22 and im about done with college i finally have the chance to get my dream car i just wanna make sure the new evo will be a good car

Your best bet to see if you like it take it for a test drive. And ask yourself can you see yourself in this car down the road future-wise and at the same time please drive responsibly.

ive already did all this my question is what one had a better build that will last longer what car has a better clutch that wont break so easy how well is the motor .stuff like that mechanical stuff

In my opinion, the X is much easier to DD compared to the 8 or 9. Those 2 generations seem more intense to me, more track-minded and rough.

thats all i really want and on the weekend i like to take my gsxr to the track and do time attacks i know the lancer is a rally car but how well will it hold up before breaking crap

I can vouch for the reliability of the IX MR. I've put a lot of miles on mine, and it's been the best car I've ever owned. The clutches are fine in all EVO's. the driver's just suck. the motors seemingly run forever as long as you keep up the maintenance on them.

I agree a clown driver can destroy the best clutch in no time...even on a stock car....
and concure MAINTENANCE is key get service records for the car your looking at..
