When I bought my IX, the previous owner brought the car over to an Autozone to run a scanner. We confirmed that it had the P0300 code (IIRC). When we disconnected the scanner it seemed as if it cleared the code. I've had the car for about 4 months now and have not seen the check engine light since. Is it possible that the scanner did something to not bring up the check engine light anymore or am I just being paranoid?
